Wedding in the Italian Langhe of Piedmont

Even though i live in Piedmont, every time I find myself photographing the bucolic landscapes and the vineyards of the Italian Langhe, I am amazed and fascinated. The warm and enveloping light that surrounds the smells, flavors and atmospheres of the place is wonderful.

Exactly here and more specifically in the Langhe del Barolo, at Palas Cerequio, in La Morra, that Jan Tore and Marit decided to unite in marriage. From cold Norway to warm Italy to crown their dream of love.

The preparation of the bride and the bridesmaids was alternated with moments of smiles and other of tension. It was exciting to know that the groom was getting ready in a nearby room almost at the same time.

The beautiful sunny day allowed the couple to celebrate the outdoor civil ceremony in front of a fairytale hilly landscape. A beautiful couple surrounded by a few friends and relatives. A minimal, simple, fun and romantic wedding.

Surrounded by the beautiful vineyards of the Langhe, we continued the day with the photo shoot and were then welcomed by the guests in time for the wedding dinner. The excellent wine cellar of Palas Cerequio has honored the territory of the Langhe cheering up the splendid wedding of this sweet norvegian couple.

I confess that I also drank a few glasses of Barolo 🙂

After a moment dedicated to the speeches of the most important people, the couple escape from the madding crowd and the wedding photo shoot closes with the bride and groom dance. An intimate and personal moment that I’m happy to have photographed in memory of this beautiful day.
